Hey, im not new to my own AR builds as this will be my 3rd. Also for reference im an 0311 usmc (out now) so i have a fair share of experience with this weapon platform. This is my first build sbr. I have not combined lower to upper yet. I have a 10.5in 223 wylde barrel. My initial hope was to run the hard to find 40g vmax or possibly the 40g TAP rounds out of it for high speeds and velocity. I know the short barrel will obviously run those from well over 3500 fps down to im guessing 27-2800? What are your thoughts on this? What ammo should i run through my 10.5 and is the vmax or tap a bad idea?
*i do not plan to put a supressor on it in the near future as of rn. *all nfa requirements and documents are done
