Just installed my Larue MBT the other day and damn! Now I know why everyone recommends them. I had a BCM PNT on my rifle from the factory and it was a good milspec trigger. Had a tiny bit of creep but a crisp break. It was around 6lbs pull. Always wanted a G$ but could never justify the price over a more functional upgrade like a a5 buffer system or new hand guard. Found out about the MBT when I joined this thread and decided to give it a go since it was a good price and I am super happy with it. It has almost completely gotten rid of my want for a G$ and I’ve already ordered a second for my wife’s rifle. Super smooth and crisp. 1st stage has the tiniest bit of grit but nothing you’ll notice while using it even for precision shots. You really have to try and feel it. 2nd stage breaks like candy cane. Nothing to complain about there. Rest set is very positive. If I had to nit pick I wish the reset was a little shorter but as is it’s definitely not long by any means. Haven’t gotten it out to the range yet but have been using it quite a bit with my Blackbeard X auto reset system and my splits have sped up a hair, maybe .02-.03 but the main benefit I’ve seen is consistency in longer strings of fire like bill drills and 1-5 drills. I had to get used to the 2 stage since I’ve always used milspec single stage but after some practice I’ve become much more consistent and don’t freeze as much on longer strings. I’m sure when I’m able to get some rounds through it that it will make shots at distance a little easy too. Sorry for the long write up. I’m just super impressed and I highly recommend anyone of the fence about getting one to just pull the trigger (pun intended) You won’t be disappointed.
