Relief by super hot shower!
Post Body
So I felt my pruritus starting to act up due to the humidity and it usually lasts about 45 minutes for me. Nothing I've tried has ever helped from creams to anti-histamines. A nurse friend suggested I try having a super hot shower. I was very sceptical because you know, water equals pain. But It worked!
I set the shower as hot as I could tolerate and stayed under the water for a few minutes. After I got out my pruritis was way more tolerable. It was still there but super minimal. The sensation of insects crawling under my skin was replaced by a slight tingle. I recommend giving it a try :)
