Hi all.

I work in a warehouse atm & it's my job to accept deliveries & check the stock in the boxes corresponds to what it says on the paperwork has been sent. Later I've got to manually find the invoice on my employer's inventory system, check to see if what was actually sent was what we should have recieved & then OK the delivery to generate a system number for the invoice, which I then have to write on the invoice. Most day's I've at least 100 invoices to check, and it's something that takes up a good chunk of my day.

Asked my employer about the possibility of getting a scanner gun to read the barcodes on boxes & the items inside to try speed the delivery side of it up but got told head office won't do it.

So I'm wondering if anyone knows of any apps on Android that I could use to scan the barcode on the box using my phone, which would then allow me to scan the items in the box (say box 1) & list the contents in that box then move on to another box (say box 2), scan it's barcode & then the items within that box but have the items in that box come up as being in box 2 rather than have every item just assigned to box 1.

Apologies if this is a stupid question or you don't understand what I mean.
