I had sears repair out to take a look at my 10 year old fridge because the freezer gasket is coming off. He quoted $500 to replace the top refrigerator gasket which I was unaware had an issue then told me that they don't make the bottom freezer gasket and I would have to replace the whole door. He said the total job would be upwards of $1400. Since that was ridiculous I declined of course. I was then on the hook for $160 in diagnostic fee which is kind of lame considering they didn't even have the part I initially called for so how am I 'declining' the repair? I paid and he went on his way.
My question: My model is Kenmore 79576202902
The following website https://www.partswarehouse.com/Kenmore-79576202901-Refrigerator-s/452222.htm
shows the replacement part as LG Gasket Assembly, Door #L-G-ADX73350925
Will this part fit my freezer? It's an LG part and mine is a Kenmore.
