Post Body

So, my oven control panel was blinking with the relay clicking on and off, then the control panel died completely. Oven does not work at all at this point. The oven light button would turn the oven light on briefly, only for it to turn off when the control panel blinks(it did not come back on when it blinked back on). Shortly before the control panel died completely, the oven light button stopped working entirely.

It's been replaced, and it was working fine, then it started blinking again. Pressing the oven light button both turns on the oven light(duh) and halts the blinking, allowing the oven to function.

At no point have the range elements stopped working or shown any noticeable reduction in heat output, though the indicator lights for them will blink if the control panel is blinking.

I've had a hell of a problem with mice in the nearby pantry closet(and a couple months ago had to clean caked bug corpses out of the control panel- previous residents were not clean) so I couldn't tell you if there are or are not any odd smells from the oven. There's too much going on to be sure.

The outlet seems good, though I can't rule out an intermittent issue yet. I can investigate there if needed.
