We have a Bosch 8 series 8kg front loading washing machine, model number WAW28460AU.
When we do a wash, the timer seems to jump around erratically, and always seems to take a lot longer than it should to finish the load.
For example, setting it on the mix setting, which should take only 45m, it will count down to ~35m and then jump back up to ~45. Not sure if there is a pattern but it always takes a lot longer than expected.
My dad and I opened it up and cleaned the main board with some MAF sensor cleaner I had laying around as we found some residue on the board and my dad thought it could be a from a cockroach of other bug/insect causing a short circuit.
Unfortunately the problem still persists. I work on cars and feel very comfortable swapping parts but I'm not familiar with home appliances. What is the next step? Finding a replacement board? Or is there something I'm missing? Thanks in advance!
