I have posted once or twice before regarding my stacked unit dryer. It is Maytag model Lsg7806aae. I've called a few different parts suppliers and they all tell me this is a great unit, but at the moment it's giving me tons of trouble. The dryer wasn't drying clothes a few months ago, and I ended up dismantling pretty much the whole thing and cleaning out every speck of lint, including the vent hose which was pretty clogged. I replaced the coils and the hi limit thermostat as well.
One of the biggest issues is that the dryer timer will not advance when it's set to "intelligent dry" which is the setting I use the most and it seems to be the most efficient.
I just replaced the timer with a brand new one, and it's still doing the same damn thing, when it's set to "more" on the intelligent dry, it will just stay there forever with the dryer running until I have to manually turn it off.
I'm tired of just throwing parts at the machine, but I figure this must be something small since pretty much every other part is new. Does anyone have any ideas what it might be?
