I have 4th generation Apple TV. I've had it for a while now. I usually fall asleep with something streaming on my Apple TV and set my sleep timer on my TV to turn off after a hour.
In the past, when my TV would sleep (turn off) the Apple TV would stop streaming on it's own 15-20 minutes after the TV turned off. In the last couple months that stopped happening, and now the Apple TV will keep on streaming whatever I had on unless I stop it myself.
Is there a way I can get the Apple TV to go back to turning off after the TV turns off?
(Sorry if this comes off redundant or rambling. I'm just trying to get as much info out there, hoping it'll help me get an answer. Thank you all in advance!)
NOTE: As I think about it, I'll edit and add any info I think might be helpful to this situation.
EDIT 1: Now that I think about it, there was a few times where I set the TV sleep timer, but I was still awake when it turned off, so I'd turn the TV back on. In those instances when I turned the TV back on, the show/movie I was watching would have automatically pause in that moment. It definitely doesn't do that anymore either).
