Atv2 with a broken micro USB port.

I was wondering what my jailbreak/repair options are for an atv2 on 5.3 with a micro USB port that's broken. Is there any way to jailbreak by shsh'ing only? If not is it possible or difficult to replace a micro USB port that is broken. And just so everyone knows I've tried multiple cables and its definitely a broken port. I've jailbroken dozens of atv2's so this isn't a rookie mistake like I can't get it to enter dfu mode or something like that. Any info or suggestions are appreciated
