Anyone else have issues with frame rate and content match on the YouTube app?

I've been gone for a couple weeks and I think my app and my ATV updated and since then some content on YT simply won't play.

Everything USED to play but it wouldn't always content or frame rate match - which I did have turned on. But now I can click some videos and it skips to the end and won't play. Further, some videos don't even pretend like they'll play and some play fine! I always knew something was going on because my screen would go black when I start a new video and go over to Dolby mode most of the time.

I turned off all matching and all videos play now but I'm getting tired of turning it back on to see all my other apps and videos in the best quality.

In terms of other settings, I'm on the highest 4K HDR Dolby with an LG C1 75" 4K TV.

So - anyone else have this problem? Any workarounds? Why can't we set video/audio settings on a per app basis?
