Gigabit Fiber
Post Body

Does anyone in here have a gigabit fiber connection? I have questions about how it works with my Apple TV 4K. I have the one with the gigabit port. I watch a lot of content from Peacock. From time to time the stream quality is still poor at the start. I downloaded the speedtest app by ookla on my Apple TV. I have it connected via Ethernet to an unmanaged Ethernet switch. The switch is connected to my Router which is a Netgear Orbi Mesh unit. My speed results almost always show 940-941 download and 940 upload. I canโ€™t understand any of this. I should not be having any issues. Maybe itโ€™s my ISP or another factor??? Firmware is updated on router.

Same boat. I dont understand why we can't download our shows on apple tv? Why is it not a thing? Surley downalding them will have a consistent resolution rather than drops here and there when streaming.

If anything we should be pressuring apple to let is download shows on the apple tv. I have 128gb of storage you'd think theyd let you downlaod a season in 4k instead of relying on streaming without an option.
