Macbook Won't Install from Bootable Drive.

When I hold down option it does show the Install Big Sur but, when I click on it it doesn't take me through the installer it takes me through the recovery via internet option which always fails halfway through.
Anyway to help force it to boot the Big Sur installer would be appreciated.
