Recently gifted my sister my iPhone 11 as I upgraded. She created an Apple ID/iCloud email so that she would be able to download apps since her other emails were taken somehow.

Long story short in the span of five minutes she forgot the password to the iCloud and doesn’t have a recovery email or security questions set up yet. When we tried to use the apple support app to send a code to her phone to unlock it, it kept saying it would send another code to the iCloud email that she has no access to. So, we are waiting on apple to send her a link or verification thing to her phone in 24 hours. If that doesn’t work is there another way ? Has anyone ever experienced this ?
