So I got myself a pretty taken care of mini that's got no chime, doesn't detect RAM and essentially just warps up the fans to the max with zero video output and just beeping. So I figured it's probably v-core issues but with the lack of the schematics I figured I'd open up the Retina MacBook Pro .brd to figure out what can be wrong - so far my main culprits are the 150uF 6.3v tantal caps, but with the component shipping mess pretty much everywhere, I'll have to wait for them to ship out so it's going to be a week before I get any soldering done.

Any input what to check for next or any ideas or usual culprits for the period correct problems I can look into? Visual inspection is pretty much neat, thermal camera shows nothing major and I'm yet to trace the major culprits but so far doesn't seem like the board has a major f-up.

Thanks!
