I have an almost new iPhone 8 and up until yesterday my phone calls have stopped working properly. When I call someone, I hear no ring on my end but the other party is still receiving my phone call. When they answer they can’t hear me and I can’t hear them, this also happens when I receive calls. I’ve tried using earbuds with a mic and also putting it on speaker but neither work. I can still hear my music through my earbuds and also use Siri. I’ve taken the phone to my carrier (AT&T) and they said it’ll be an Apple issue and that my speakers are blown (which is confusing to me since I can still hear music and Siri fine). I went to Apple but it’ll be almost a week until I’ll be seen and I have some important phone calls to be expecting so I was hoping someone may have some insight. Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Just tried phone calls via Facebook and FaceTime and I was able to be heard and I could hear the other party. Sounding more and more like a carrier issue? Very frustrating.
