iPhone 5s in 2016?

So, I am officially done with Android phones. I've given them plenty of chances, and it just isn't working anymore.
I have decided to give Apple a try, and I was thinking of ordering 5s, since SE and 6, 6s etc. are over my budget. I would get a brand new, 32GB 5s, but I was wondering if that's a smart move considering the phone came out 2-3 years ago. What are your thoughts/advice? I'd really appreciate any kind of feedback. :)
