Hello folks
i use several iCloud linked devices but want to “scrub” an iPad of personal info and just have it available for guest use etc.
I would still like to have it linked to my iCloud account for find my purposes etc.
if I setup my iPad with my apple ID after wiping the device but I don’t turn on email , iCloud folders , iMessages , photos in iCloud , safari iCloud history /bookmarks , can guest users turn any of this stuff back on and thus get access to all this information if they do not have my iCloud password but only device code ?
any tips for the above would be appreciated
TLDR: want to setup iPad under my Apple ID but not have access to messages /files /photos in iCloud without needing iCloud password to turn that on. This is so iPad can be used by guests who would only be given device unlock code but not iCloud password.
