Despite being connected to the same wifi as my phone, my MacBook’s internet speed is much much slower. Like 1mbps where I should be getting 70/80 mbps. There are two other MacBooks that are connected to the same wifi and they are perfectly fine. This started happening just a few days ago. Can’t figure out why. First thought it was an issue with my wifi so tried connecting to my mobile hotspot and same problem persisted. The 5G network on my phone that otherwise gives me 80mbps speed, doesn’t go beyond 1mbps with my MacBook. I am not able to stream anything. Even YouTube has been lagging. It has been very frustrating. Please help.
First of all you need to state some details… what is your MacBook model? Router model? Are you connecting on the 2.4GHz? 5Ghz?

Try turning off Bluetooth on the Macbook. If that doesn't work, try disabling IPV6 on the router.
