On Friday i found an Iphone x in New York City on the sidewalk. I Held on to it for a few days the device was icloud locked i waited for the owner to use find my iPhone and send a message but the phone was wiped when i found it. i Popped the sim realized it was an AT&T phone so i contacted att and gave them the IMEI.

ATT Gave me the number attached to the phone which i called and the owner picked up and i will be shipping his iPhone x to him tomorrow. Turns out the guy lost it in Atlantic city and i found it in Manhattan. guy lives in florida Probably stolen crook got spooked. Moral of the story if you find an i cloud locked device contact the carrier and they may help you return it to its owner.

TLDR: Found an iphone called carrier returned it made someone very happy
