Apollo 1.14.16 is now available! Adds inline comment image previews, fixes a bug with the saved bar, and adds an Easter Egg! 🎉
Post Body

Hey all,

Little update today to hold you over to the next one. Some subreddits now support being able to put upload images to comments from the official app (don't worry we've had that since inception), and Apollo now properly shows the thumbnail for that content. It also fixes a bug where the "Saved!" banner could get stuck, and adds an option to not show the "set category" portion if you're not interested in using the new "saved post/comment categories" feature added in the last update.

Finally it adds a fun little Easter Egg for a friend's app update that a lot of people should be able to discover (it's not particularly hidden) but I had a fun time adding.

Hope you have an awesome week,

- Christian

Yeah, consider this implementation a 1.0. It went over really well, so I'm working on adding per account categories and deleting/editing of categories.

It's processing there, should go out shortly.

That's an Imgur link, those have always been supported. This is more so for the subreddits that support uploading images into comments with the official app, so they're actual Reddit URLs. It's a newish change on Reddit, and before Apollo would just show a link to the image without any preview.

Like in self text posts? That'll come a bit later, working on that one, but my initial implementation where I just treated them like comments wasn't my favorite per se, since for a really long post they'd just show up all grouped at the bottom (which can happen for comments too but is more common for posts). I'd like to spread them out more ideally throughout the self text where they occur, playing around a bit more

That looks as I would expect. What are you expecting?
