Consider raising the price of Apollo and always charging to make up for the new cost?

If Apollo charged all users $4-6 per month (Reddit premium is $7/mo), would that be enough to keep the app alive? Or is it not even worth going through that transition?

I'm looking into ways to make this work, should be possible if Reddit is willing to be a bit flexible.
