Tips for IGL

Good evenings Apex people, I usually IGL for my team. I was wondering if anyone has tips for being the IGL. I feel like I do a good job, I have lead our team to diamond the last 4 seasons. However, we can’t get over that hump to Master. Any tips on how to IGL when focusing on making Master Ranked? For example, should we push off the drop? Or play positioning to guarantee that top placement? Thank you to whoever responds!
