I haven’t played ranked since I did my placements and made S1. Normally I’m easily in masters every season around 150 games during the harder seasons. Usually around a 2.8 kd with >35,000 kills on wraith.

However, this season, I’m progressing through, but every game I’ve played current preds and masters while I’m still in silver. It’s a slog that feels so unrewarding that it’s exhausting. I’m fine with playing in these lobbies solo q, but the idea of having to drag my way through to masters just for a trail that everyone with time will get regardless of mmr seems…not worth it this season. Would queuing with other people in gold lower my MMR enough to just breeze through until I get to diamond where the harder lobbies would be? Or am I doomed to drag my way through the muck this season for 4 ranked divisions
