Day one Apex'er here. Also, deaf in one ear. (90%). Basically I can't hear anything in that ear, unless it's SOOO loud, or right up against my head, so that my brain/body can interpret it. Usually, when I play, I put my headset set back a bit on my 'good ear' to allow some outside noise in, and allow my 'bad ear' to pick up on the faintest of sounds easier from the game. Volume is always at max. Thus, my question, is anyone aware of something or a trick, or anything that may assist me, in being able to hear in a more balanced fashion, allowing me to not have to basically turn 90-180° so I can discern exactly where gunshots or footsteps are coming from? I love Apex and always will. Love playin the game. But do find myself gettin frustrated sometimes, because of the moment or two that someone gets the jump on me, because I'm having a harder time figuring out exactly where the threat is or is coming from. And I feel like with an improvement there, my game play would be THAT much better.
Edit: I'm on console. So there's no confusion. PS5 now, but also xbox too.
