I played the new Warzone with my brother yesterday and I felt like I was getting crapped on the whole time. It was a struggle, a grind, demoralizing, and generally miserable. At the end of the game I realize I had 10 kills and we got 2nd place. But it didn't matter, I didn't want to play it again.
Getting kills feel like you just happened to shoot at a guy becuse he wasn't looking, or you one shot him with a sniper. It doesn't feel like a game of skill it feels like circumstial luck.
Meanwhile you get 4 kills in apex and you feel like you fought your heart out and truly outplayed the people you killed. If you get 10 kills you feel like you rolled the whole lobby and are an fps God.
What is it that apex is doing so right?
Warzone doesnโt have anything that induces a dopamine rush quite like mag dumping an R99 and hitting every shot. Just nothing like it.
