So in the previous seasons, I'd hot drop everything and just have fun in the middle of the chaos. Sometimes I'd get whopped immediately other times we'd come out as the champions. With the changes this ranked season which I support, the games feel different now. For some reason, everyone is playing safer, last 2 rings often end with more than 6 squads alive. It also doesn't help that the hard reset brought preds and masters in our lobbies. I have played around 30 games of ranked so far. At least every other game there is a squad with a pred trail and every lobby has at least 2 masters squads. I started in silver 1 and then slowly progressed my way to gold 2. And the climb didn't feel good.

My games have gone from an average of 12 kills total for my squad to barely scratching 5 kills. Is anyone experiencing this or am I just an ape who can't cope with the new changes? Might be too early and maybe I should just wait out the week so everyone gets closer to their level before I start playing. Let me know how you feel, thanks in advance. <3
