Pure speculation. I know nothing of the inner workings of Respawn.

I think that Apex is going to be last in, first out. Not sure when but I think that it will end within the next decade. I think it will be a slow death by 1000 cuts from people growing tired of prices and company practices.

There probably will be 3 or 4 new maps and a new row of Legends, maybe a new mode or 2 or 3. And I think they will activate the ultimate cash out by re-releasing all skins and having them buyable in super packs. Possibly multiple heirlooms for each legend.

Release server code so people can host their own matches. Will probably have a mission editor so people can custom tweak the balance or throw balance out the window. Custom Cool down timers, weapon damage, weapons spread, melee damage, ring timers, loot pool, etc. Ability to choose what maps and map versions will be played (Could do all King's Canyon but it changes what version every patch). Takeover selector and Creator with format released for custom voice overs. Map editor with blanks slates available and formatting for new objects.
