Apex Legends crashing my pc

Hey all
Has anyone else had an issue with apex crashing their pc when running through steam? Everything is fine until I quit the game and then steam stops responding, and even after force closing steam my pc is all wonky (taskbar not working, can’t open other apps) so I basically have to restart after every session which is pretty annoying. If anyone has run into the same problem and has a fix I’d be appreciative!
