Octane buffs - What do you think?

Post Body

So the long awaited Octane buffs have arrived. What do you think? Was it enough? Does it need improvement? Discuss!

Personally, I feel the extra jump from the pad is a bit wonky not sure if it's a bug. I was a bit disappointed that stim didn't give full slow immunity but only on activation, since most slows are lingering or chaining. The on activation would only really help vs arc stars, however, I thought the improved 10% movespeed is great though. Currently, there is a bug that Octane can heal while at stim speed, this will be getting patched soon, but I kinda like the idea the more I've been doing it as a bonus ability for Octane. Maybe allow Octane to heal while moving at half the current (bugged) speed?

Let's hear what you think!

He’s still bottom tier, a slow cleanse is almost worthless. I may get hit with an arc star or Bang ult once every 5 games. The only common slows are Caustic gas, bullets, and the stun after landing, none of which are affected by the changes. The double jump makes the jump pad more effective in terms of how much ground you cover, but doesn’t address the actual weakness that taking a jump pad is asking to be one clipped. Likewise the improvement to the sprint speed is nice, but without it affecting strafe speed or ads strafe speed, it doesn’t really do much in terms of viability.
