I played a game last night: I just started using Caustic and am trying to figure out how to use his abilities in an impactful way. I was jumpmaster, I made a mistake by landing right in the same spot as another team. I died almost instantly, a teammate of mine revived me, then both my teammates got taken down. They kept pinging where the enemies where, I placed traps to act as an alarm system. I managed to eliminate the threat and we were back on track.
We spent the rest of the game staying close, pinging useful weapons, shields, batteries and meds. Giving up healing items whenever a teammate was down in HP and wasn't healing, meaning that they might need help. We kept watching each other's 6 by pinging. Ping ping ping. That system works, use it!
We ended up winning the game. I went down when three teams were left, and my companions finished the job for me. We didn't know each other, we weren't talking to each other. We were pinging, and acting like a team. It felt easy, but nonetheless satisfying. And made me realise that I could actually win more than a game every four days (maybe).
Communicate, lads. Communicate away and join me in glory.
