Sydney Servers FULL of CFG users...

Post Body

Either everybody recently got amazing at movement tech, or I'm suddenly being lumped into pred lobbies, or Respawn needs to do something about cfgs. I think I know which one it is.

Yesterday I played a TDM game where half the enemy team was constantly lurching everywhere but also playing with seemingly zero gamesense (fighting in the open, forgetting about enemies, etc.) AND two people on my team were using cfgs too.

Played three games of trios this morning. First game, our random third was using cfgs, hitting superglides on every climb and lurching everywhere. Second game was okay! Third game was going well until a Bangalore moving like a fucking alien gave me an aneurism before her team flanked me.

Honestly, I can deal with 'shitty' matchmaking, I like playing against people who are better, even if it means getting rolled sometimes. I can deal with aim assist, controller players need it to exist to some degree. But this cfg thing is so out of hand.

I'm playing on Sydney servers, has anyone else noticed this? In Sydney? NA? Tokyo?

It makes me really sad. Fundamentally Apex is an amazing FPS. It feels like Quake and PUBG had a freaky baby and I'm all here for it. But I can't help but feel the devs need to be doing so much more. Or maybe this is just the future of Apex? Everyone just accepts it and starting using cfgs? I hope not.

Also, I'm sorry for another complaining post on this sub... But I think it's beyond 'complainer culture' at this point. (Mods, maybe make a megathread, lol)
