Aorus 15P XD overheating when a second ssd is installed
Post Body

Hi y'all, I have a Aorus 15P XD which started giving me some random issues while playing a lightly modded (around 80gbs of mods) fallout 4 run, as an FYI indo computer repair on my free time so I started doing some troubleshooting.

First I started getting some weird sound issue when the gpu gets to 80°C the audio started to get "crunchy" on both 3. 5mm earphones and a Plantronics headset

Soni started blasting my fans at full throttle and after a while my Temps went down.

But then it woudk randomly shut down.

So I read on a previous post that having a second ssd would overheat the decide, and, yeah my 2nd m2 ssd would get quite toasty, I tried removing it and using it on a usb3 dongle for m2 drives I have and my ssd wouldn't overheat and the device wouldn't turn off so I thought my drive was faulty.

I tried 3 different m2 drives on that slot, same issue.

The I opted for trying the device with only one ssd, and it hasn't shit down while playing, but the sound issue still comes back after the gpu gets hot.

Now I bought this laptop Las November on Newegg and I'm currently living in Mexico so... Does gigabyte has shy offices in Mexico I could take the device in for service?

I haven't tried repasting the laptop but I did make sure to clean the fans and laptop so that's not the issue and I use it on a room that has AC on almost 24/7 constantly between 22 and 24 °C so the room isn't the problem either and I have the laptop on a mesh aluminum Amazon basic base whish should permit ample airflow
