How about nerfing abbasid with...

Making the House of Wisdom a defensive structure.

Abbasid is a bottom-tier civ, and it has been a bottom-tier civ almost every patch. They just lack power in feudal and don't have enough time or tools to defend feudal pushes. The TC nerfs make it even worse, and now the culverin nerf removes some of the power abbasids have.

However, allowing villages to garrison at the house of learning, and giving the house of learning emplacements would easily fixc it.

On Dark age, it's only a garrison - a 5 people garrison

On feudal, it's a 7-people garrison and supports arrowslits

On castle, it's a 10-people garrison and supports a springald

On imperial, it's a 15-people garrison and supports a cannon.

This would give abbasid the ability to turtle and boom, which is the only thing they can do right know. But turtling with 7-garrison TCs with lower range is quite difficult nowadays

You need to buy the emplacements, of course. This would turn the House of Wisdom into a defensive landmark, something other civs have. Of course, it has much more HP, but consider that this is the only landmark they have

As for ayyubids, they are doing fine. However, they've gone through two consecutive nerfs without buffing any other aspect of their gameplay, so they might go down soon enough

What do you think?
