Not able to install War of Liberty to AOE3 Definitive Edition, system can't find my directory

Hi, whenever I try to install War of Liberty, I get an error message saying they are unable to find my AOE directory even though it's right there on my desktop and in my Steam files. I tried guiding the installer to my AOE directory but it still acts as if it can't detect it. How can I fix this?

Also is War of Liberty at all worth it? Does it glitch a lot or does it lead to the game crashing? Can you have both the Definitive Edition as it is AND have War of Liberty seperately or do they combine and change settings for the Definitive Edition?
