Hi guys,

so i bought a brand new gaming laptop about 2 years ago which I almost exclusively use for age of empires 2. A few days ago I wanted to play and since then everything takes about 3 times as long as usual, and the screen even freezes during the loading screen and before I start a new game. Even against AI my loading time was always about 5 seconds, now it`s half a minute. Typing this post right now the letters take about half a second to appear on my screen. Playing ranked is almost impossile because of fps drops.

Sooo.. extremely frustrating! Did you guys have an update recently that made this happen? I almost feel like nuking my hard drive and reeinstalling everything (should be quick since the laptop is for gaming only).
