So I quit my job on the spot today. I work in IT and all the jobs I've ever had were super chill and run by good people. I recently started this new job for a large national lumber company at their corporate HQ near me. I thought it would be a great fit and the pay bump was great until I reached my 3rd day. I was hardly familiar with how everything was organized and I was hit with random non IT related tasks. Stuff that an admin assistant or a secretary would do. My boss would start barking at me to get it done and scoff at my ideas for IT solutions. The tasks started to increase when the accounts receivable lady got too lazy to even go into the software to send invoices out, so I was out in charge of that. Boss man would increasingly laugh at my face when I would make a simple mistake and if I did something good or worthwhile he'd belittle me for not doing said task the exact same way he would. Today he just kept going on to my face about how lost I am and I look like I'm too stupid for the job. So I got up and told him to F off and walked out. Feels good. Back to the drawing board
