If you’re from the Bay area, or even LA or New York, you’ve heard of Boba Guys. An outwardly “progressive” business that just fired 3 employees and closed down their original location after employees start to speak up over abusive practices.

My GF works at this location so I’m seeing it first hand. Without any warning, every employee had their hours cut in half or even a third (my gf went from 25 to 9). When they brought it up, the owner goes on about how he has “just as much to lose.” He is, of course, a multimillionaire.

Progressive until revenue drops. Despicable
