My job has been WFH this week because both of my bosses caught Covid at a somatic heading workshop. It’s been great, my job (project manager) is easy to do from home and I prefer it to my 2 hour round trip commute. BUT what I don’t understand is my the need on my boss’s part to text me at least an hour before I’d normally clock in. And HOURS after I’m already done for the day.
I can’t TECHNICALLY clock in at 9 AM when you started texting me things you know that I already know, but thanks for waking me up (like this morning) or interrupting my quiet time. Just because you’re working, doesn’t mean I am too.
Has anyone else experienced this? I don’t want to ignore because the WFH situation was not easily gained (they were originally going to quarantine in their house & have my coworker & I still come in and work out of our office aka their converted garage). But for fucks sake you pay me to work 10-6 please only bother me between those hours.
