I work with a VERY small team 4 people including myself. 2 bosses (partners in life and in business), 1 coworker and me. Our team is so small we work out of the converted garage of my bosses home.

Today, my bosses are off on vacation and rather than working from home my coworker and I have to come into the office. For honestly no reason. Both of our roles can easily be done from home (he successfully does so every Monday) and they aren’t necessarily collaborative. Tomorrow we DO get the privilege of working from home…because the dog sitter will be staying in the guest house (where we use the bathroom) starting tonight and they figured it’ll be awkward if we had to share the bathroom with her.

So while my bosses get somatically healed I had to burn my $6/gallon gas to show up to their home.

Update: the dog sitter is here early so the entire situation they were supposedly avoiding is upon us.
