Easter has never been a federal holiday. Some businesses choose to close, some choose to pay their emoloyees extra for working that day, but no one has to.

During the pandemic I delivered for Amazon and I chose to work weekends (less traffic, no business deliveries) so of course I worked Easter Sunday......the amount of people that seemed upset for me "having" to work that day while they expected their things to be delivered was comical!
