It is nothing new, offshore call centres have been around for ages. But doesn't this highlight the problem? Why is the article about companies finding cheaper workers and not about how its pushing up global wages? As long as there is someone "willing" (read forced to survive) for less the battle isn't over. Fair wages need to be a globally sanctioned human right. This is despite many of the things people need wages for, and being unable to afford, already being so.
The size of this task is monumental, to change the process for everyone on the planet. I'm in, but I don't know where to even begin!
