I sincerely have a belief that some aspects of the organizational support of “$15 minimum wage” is lead in the aim to focus on the wrong issues. The issue isn’t a higher wage, the real questions is simple “What could be done to make our wages go further.” If an individual in city A makes $100 a day and spends $50 on groceries; while an individual in city B makes $75 a day but only needs to spend $20 on the same amount groceries, then at face value individual A makes more money, yet individual B’s wage goes further than A. The issues should not be focused on raising the wages but making the currency go farther. Thoughts?
