There have been a lot of post lately of stories of putting in two weeks notice... Why? Why do you feel you need to do this? Do you think an employer will give you two weeks notice before laying you off or firing you? Remember, you owe your employer NOTHING. They owe you everything! If it wasn't for your labor, they would have nothing. Now I'm not saying you should ghost your boss, and you don't have to be a dick about it, but there is no need to give them a heads up. When it's time and you're ready to leave just simply tell them "I quit"
