Was told in January when I started a new maintenance position that the job would come with paid for certification classes and would be a great opportunity for me to learn. 11 months later and my main job is cleaning floors and uncloging toilets. The other 2 maintenance guys aren't certified in anything and come to find out the company doesn't offer any certification programs. Also she's been very negative of my performance even though there's never an opportunity to show that I can be useful. We were assigned to help another apartment complex because they were short staffed and she referred to me as " I'll send one of my guys. He's not really a maintenance person but better than nothing" I'm planning on moving in June. I'm glad I'll be getting away from this job, I worked very hard to get this gig and so far it's been a waste of time. I dont think I'll put in a notice.
