I was a cashier at Walmart for 3 yrs and during that time they got a machine for their drawers that you had to scan your hand in order to get your till. I put it off for as long as possible, but was eventually told to either let them scan my hand or lose my job. I was pregnant with my 3rd kid and at the time $10/hr was amazing for that area and my lack of skill set so I couldn't afford to lose my job. I don't know why but it still makes me feel uneasy that they have a copy of my handprint and that I was coerced into giving it.
