What do.
Post Body

So I've posted a few times here, detailing what's been going on at my current workplace. Yesterday, an acquaintance (they used to work for EEOC) suggested I call the EEOC about the stuff that's been going on. Some details: I'm a front desk supervisor.

My GM had left for various trips back in February, and remained off site until August. We didn't have an AGM or equivalent, or even any instructions for operation. As the Supervisor, I stepped up and kept guests happy and doors open (despite MASSIVE issues with staff and maintenance needs) for the duration.

I started getting reports of harassment from the GM at the end of July.

In August, I blew the whistle on my previous GM's sexual harassment of female employees and guests (Hotel); and he was terminated.

When the Regional Vice president of Operations came out to see us, I asked if my wife needed to leave, as the previous manager had made arrangements for her to report to him. (Never was alone with the dude, as her availability coincided with other people being present)

All these promises of training for the AGM position were given to me, and instructions for the taskforce GM to train me in the required areas.

The training never came. I also never received training for my current role as supervisor.

About a week later, the taskfprce GM was announced to be our new GM. I supported this, as long as they didn't pull shit like the last dude.

In a matter of days, I am called into her office and told to take 20 steps back, (I had asked her what she planned on doing about a housekeeper refusing to clean stayover rooms, which resulted in my front desk team getting berated by guests for over a week). She then told me someone in housekeeping said I was mad about not getting GM. (I applied as my wife urged me, and thought if I didn't try it was a guaranteed no) and she even told me the RVP of Ops told her I applied. I argued that wasn't the case, and she told me she didn't believe me.

About a week or two later, my wife is getting bullied by a group of 3 housekeepers, saying she's bossy. (I cannot speak for this, as we can't work the same shifts, but when asked not one other employee agreed.) She calls GM, GM tells her "I'm not firing anybody just because you claimed something." Then, she accuses ME of telling my wife what housekeeping had said. (They apparently went to GM a few days prior with the complaint).

Less than a week later, my team is no longer allowed to report to me. Management has been communicating less, and less with me. One day they called me into the office to tell me they're dissolving the Front Desk Supervisor position. Followed by a quick "IM JOKING" when I, understandably, didn't laugh. My title was off the schedule the next week.

I've been in fear of losing my job for a while. It's been hell. Finally a light shines through, the AGM position is FINALLY posted. I figured that'd be my best way to get the training ordered for me. Bonus, the RVP of Ops is making the decision and doing interviews.

I get an interview, and it goes: "What is your plan to address the culture there?" "My plan is to review grievances, and address them as a mediator. If there isn't an actual grievance, then we do have policies against hostile work environments, and the aggressors will be held accountable accordingly". "You've been in the culture too long, I don't think you can do it. What's your GSS?" "My what?" "As supervisor you should know this. New ownership is going to be coming around frequently, and they'll let you go if you give them the same answer as me." "So can you tell me how to access that.....?" "No, ask GM." "Your performance just isn't there DarkWing. We wouldn't be having this conversation if I didn't think you had a shot. But your performance just isn't there."

My acquaintance wants me to call EEOC, as he thinks I've got more ammunition than I realize. Thoughts?
