I feel trapped
Post Body

I have been searching for a job for a few years now, just a simple IT help desk. Just to get me started in IT. I have taken a few different jobs in the meantime so I can pay rent and buy food. I have a certification in cybersecurity and network forensics. That's hand on experience with the tools, not just watch and learn but building my own network, ELKStack, and virtual machines. Yet, after literally hundreds of applications I have only had one interview with a company. I regularly have my resume looked over by friends, family, and have even paid a service to format everything. I don't understand what I am doing wrong. I know people with zero experience who have gotten these jobs, yet I am stuck in limbo.

My current job sucks, I am in a warehouse all day, shipping and receiving. I get no sunlight and am stuck listening for the door to buz three times a day. For the first half of my workday I am honestly just sitting there playing on my phone. I get to some that is the dream, to be paid to be on your phone, but day in and day out you can only do so much before you just get absolutely bored.

I guess this is more of a vent than anything, I just feel stuck doing a job I absolutely hate, and the things I do want to do, I can't. I can't take this anymore. The job search, the current job, any of it.
