How do I make more than my father did 30 years ago but have less?
Post Body

30 year's ago my single parent late father made $40k after taxes. We had a good size house with a mortgage, a car (used by I didn't care). Had thousands $ in savings, took vacations every year, and had everything we wanted.

I make $10k more, when adjusted for inflation would be basically the same as my dad made, which by itself is a problem. I should alone with my peers be able to buy a house, car and take vacations. It's messed up!
