I saw a post about someone being pressured to get their boss a gift for Christmas. I wanted to add a positive anecdote.
I work for a law firm and our mail room is managed and run by a third party vendor. They are a great group of people. Every year one of the secretaries organizes giving them a gift and asks for donations to purchase it. It goes out to everyone at the firm, not just the peons like me but the attorneys.
Idk how much she gets but hope against hope that sheβs able to get them a something really nice.
Some material appreciation for the people that keep the firm running is good to see.
